FAE starts operation of Mototok wireless remote controlled aircraft tug

Nov. 9, 2015

Today, FAE starts operational use of new aircraft tug manufactured by Mototok Company in Germany, which is the first to introduce into Japan.
This high-tech wireless remote controlled aircraft tug uses no tow-bar, generally used on aircraft towing, but directly catches nose tires to move the aircraft, able to use up to B737 aircraft.
Powered by electric motors and batteries, it emits no loud noise nor exhaust gas, but using wireless remote control, it is easy to operate even in limited spaces, as it can turn aircraft in tight circle.
No towing trucks and tow-bars, Mototok is very usefull for reducing expenses, we believe.
